[Records of spiritual meetings and orders by Elder Henry G. Green]. 1854-1908.

Volume consists of two distinct sections. The first, covering 1854-1860, records events at Shaker religious meetings of the Second Family at New Lebanon, New York. Marching and singing are mentioned. Funerals are included in these descriptions. A list of Shaker men and women in the Second Family for 1855 is included. The list includes a date, presumably the date on which each person joined the Shakers. A list of singers is also found. The second section is made up of business records generated from orders taken by Elder Henry G. Green for Shaker cloaks, 1902-1908. The color and length of each cloak is given. Sometimes the lining fabric is mentioned. In 1903, Green made tours of Florida (in February) and "Eastern coast resorts" (in July). The customers were from the North and Midwest. One cloak, purchased in 1905, was noted as having been made for a woman's exhibition in 1903. The "Emma" mentioned in some orders was Emma J. Neale, who made cloaks.
